What is Couperose?
Couperose (rosacea) is a chronic inflammatory skin condition that causes redness,
visible veins (capillaries), bumps, and sensitivity, especially in the cheeks, nose,
chin, and forehead. It can appear pink, red, or even purple depending on your skin
tone.
Common symptoms:
- Facial flushing and persistent redness
- Visible broken capillaries or “spider veins”
- Acne-like bumps or pus-filled pimples
- Burning or stinging skin
- Dry, irritated, or swollen eyes (ocular rosacea)
- In advanced cases: thickened skin around the nose (rhinophyma)
Couperose can flare up for weeks or months, then calm down. Often triggered by
heat, sun, spicy foods, alcohol, or stress.

Palina - Client
We combine cutting-edge skin diagnostics with non-invasive technology to address Couperose at the source, not just on the surface.
Step 1: Personalized Skin Analysis
Every treatment begins with a high-tech skin scan and consultation. We assess:
- Skin sensitivity and inflammation
- Capillary visibility and severity
- Triggers and lifestyle stressors
- Co-existing concerns (pigmentation, acne, aging)
- Skin tone and type, especially for melanin-rich skin
Our analysis guides us in building a personalised, gentle-yet-effective rosacea protocol.

Prevention

Always use caution when going outdoors and exposing your skin to the sun’s UV rays. Sunlight can trigger symptoms of rosacea and sun damage can make it difficult for your skin to heal after a flare.
Wear sunscreen daily and reapply sunscreen often throughout the day. You can also wear UV-protective clothing and accessories to cover your skin from the sunlight.
